Instructions for Wooden Mold
Submitted by Cynthia Williams

Materials

1pc (17-½” 1”x 10” board)
2pc (14” 1”x 4” board)
2pc (5-½” 1”x 4” board)
4pc (2-½” 1”x ½” molding) This is plain strait molding.
4 hinges
8 bolts
A pack of 16x 1-¼” nails

Nail one piece of the 2-½” molding to each end of the 5-½” boards, using (2) 16x 1-¼” nails in each piece of molding. Place the nails near the ends of the molding, this ensures that the drill will not hit the nails.
Now screw the hinges to the (2) 14” 1’x4”. (see the diagram )
After you have placed the molding onto the 5-½” boards and the hinges onto the 1”x4”, set the mold ends on each end of the 1”x 10”.
Now place the 14” inch boards inside your mold ends and line the ends and sides up before you screw the hinges to the 1”x10”. Now mark and screw your hinges (14” boards) to the 1”x 10” board. While holding your mold ends in place drill the (2) holes for the bolts into each piece of molding. Make your holes large enough for your bolts to easily slip in and out of the holes, for easy removal.
